Attendance
Drawing Held for Ipod at ECE |
 |
Fantastic Friday was held this
morning on the elementary
campus. Students and teachers,
as well as parents, showed their
East Chambers Buccaneer spirit
in support of Homecoming 2008.
In addition the attendance drawing
was held for the six weeks, and Lance Devillier was
the lucky winner of an Ipod.
Lance picked a lime-green Ipod
and was all smiles as seen in
this photo.
Congratulations, Lance. Who will
be next six week's lucky winner? |

Lady Bucs
Lose to Kountze |
|
The Lady Bucs came up short Thursday
night to the Lionettes of Kountze.
The Bucs started game one playing
great volleyball and in the end the
Buccaneers came away with the
victory 25-23. In game two Kountze
seemed to get in rhythm and won
16-25. Game three saw both teams
trade points throughout the match
but the Lions came away with the win
23-25. In game four the Bucs could
not overcome a strong Kountze front
row and lost 10-25. Despite seven
service errors the girls really
stepped up and showed determination
on the court; in game one the girls
played excellent volleyball. The
Lady Bucs were led in kills by
Charla Thomas with seven. |
