Junior Girls Beat Senior Girls in Powder Puff Football Game

Project Graduation sponsored a powder puff football game to raise money, and the game was held at Buccaneer Stadium Monday night, November 2, 2009.

The game offered spectators a full range of excitement from the plays on the field to the "unique" performances by the cheerleaders and drill team. Although both teams traded possession several times, the juniors prevailed and beat the seniors 14-0.

HS StuCo Attends Fall Convention

The East Chambers High School student council attended the TASC District 17 Fall Convention at the Beaumont Civic Center on Wednesday, October 14. The theme of the conference was the same as the state's theme, “The time is now, our world, our responsibility." The guest speaker was a representative from the group Love is Respect. In the afternoon sessions, the students were released to join discussion groups to share thoughts on improving student government at their respective schools. Junior class members were unable to attend due to taking the PSAT.
