drugs! The organization is
sponsored by the Winnie-Stowell
Noon Optimist Club who provides
each student with a t-shirt that
is worn on meeting days.

their official t-shirt can
attend each home football or
basketball game free.

Students are also allowed to
ride carnival rides free at the

Student Safety A Priority: No
Flip-Flops |
|
Students in elementary grades abide by
a campus dress code that does not allow students to wear
flip-flops. The reason is simple: Student Safety. Young children
are very active during P.E. and recess; in the past we have had several
injuries due to students wearing shoes that were not safe during physical
activities. We appreciate the effort on your part in helping us enforce this
safety measure.
Shoes should not detract or interfere
with the learning environment or present a safety or health hazard.
Students may not wear cleats, slippers, thongs, backless sandals or
flip-flops. All shoes must have straps around the back of the shoe.
For safety and health reasons, shoes must be tied or fastened according to
the shoe style.
