Free and
reduced-priced meals are available to all eligible students. If you feel
your child(ren) may be eligible, please complete one application
per household and return to the principal's office or the child
nutrition director at the Buc's Cafe at the junior high school.
A new family
application MUST be filed each school year.
Early
processing assures that qualifying students will be receiving meal benefits
for the complete year. You must reapply each year even if your children have
been on the program during the past year.
Households
receiving Food Stamps or TANF will need the Food Stamp or TANF case number,
the Lone Star number may NOT be used.
Applications
may be turned in anytime during the school year. Free and reduced meal
applications and the household letter are available at any school office,
the administration building, or the cafeterias.
Follow all
application instructions and complete the form. Incomplete forms will be
returned and children will be charged meals until form is completed in full
and are qualified for benefits. The household will be responsible for paying
all charges.
